AMB China 2013 opens its door - International trade platform for the entire equipment manufacturing in Jiangsu
AMB China 2013 will be held from October 14-16, 2013 at the Nanjing International Expo Center. After AMB China 2012 successfully attracted 156 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions and 8,147 trade visitors, the third edition of this show will present the innovations of 182 exhibitors, covering a total of 15,000 square meters.
Equipment manufacturing is the biggest pillar industry in Jiangsu. The development of strategic emerging industry such as new energy, new materials, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, energy conservation, environmental protection, the Internet of things etc. and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries such as metallurgical, petrochemical, light industry, textiles, building materials will drive the upgrading of a large number of equipments and products, and bring new market opportunities for major technical equipments innovation. By the year 2015, the sales revenue of the equipment manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province will exceed 7.5 trillion Yuan with an average annual growth rate of more than 13%.
Nanjing municipal government attaches great importance to the equipment manufacturing industry. In the first quarter this year Nanjing municipal government introduced “The Three-Year-Plan of Nanjing High-grade CNC Machine Tool Industry Development” and introduced later this year “Work plan on the Acceleration of the Industrial Robots Development in Nanjing”. Nanjing municipal government has also established Nanjing Robots Industrial Park and Nanjing Robots Institute, which consists of five institutes: Industrial Robots Institute, Robots System Integration Institute, Optical Online Measuring and Testing Institute, Service Robots Institute and Special Robots Institute. Nanjing municipal government is committed to develop the robot equipment manufacturing industry in Nanjing into an industry integrated with research, development and manufacturing.
Machine tool industrial production in Jiangsu province ranks first in China for years and there are 1400 machine tool manufacturers in Jiangsu. The output value in 2012 reached 105 billion, taking up 13.27% of the entire output value in China. In 2012, with a growth of 16.5%, the sales revenue of the equipment manufacturing industry in Nanjing achieved 530 billion Yuan, of which the high-end equipment manufacturing industry realized 150 billion Yuan, boasting an increase of 21%. The equipment manufacturing industry has completed investment of 84 billion Yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 28%. The high potential and powerful forces of Jiangsu equipment manufacturing industry lay a good foundation for AMB China. Besides, the trade fair also profits from a comprehensive political and economic network thanks to a provincial partnership between Jiangsu and Baden-Württemberg of over 20 years.
We are glad to present that the German VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation) becomes an international partner and supporter of AMB China. VDMA is one of the key association service providers in Europe and offers the largest engineering industry network in Europe. Chairman of the Precision Tools Association with VDMA, Mr. Lothar Horn, is positive about the potential market in Jiangsu equipment manufacturing industry and its rapid development and he expects a further increase in exports to China as the economy progresses. Meanwhile, the European Association of Machine Tool Merchants (EAMTM) will organize a group incl. Geiger, HTT, RD Machines Outils to attend AMB China 2013 in the Used Machinery Pavilion for the first time. Baden-Württemberg, the center of the leading high-tech areas in Europe, will organize Baden-Württemberg pavilion again this year; the international pavilion, of which the exhibitors come from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Israel and so on, has already attracted Paul Horn GmbH, VARGUS, TBT, Ruf etc.. Besides, the latest technologies and products are also presented by Nanjing Luhe CNC Industrial Park which is represented by Nanjing Winner Technologies CO., Ltd., Techomiller Machinery (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., Nanjing Rong Tone Machinery Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Li Jie Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.
